So, there's not much difference in bitrate/file size. The Kodak has more contrast and seems sharper, which is okay except for high-contrast scenes where the dark regions lose detail. Conclusion: Image is better on the Kodak. The Sony mic produces a higher recorded volume, and seems less affected by the wind. Conclusion: Audio is better on the Sony. The Kodak is waterproof and seemingly more rugged. The Sony has a rotating lens which would be better for shooting over a crowd or candid shots of unsuspecting subjects.
